I am an author, artist, and model from Colorado. I work on many different types of art. Mainly writing, collage, illustration, and painting. I am also an aspiring model, as well as an avid crafter. I went to the Santa Fe University of Art and Design for a year, majoring in creative writing. I have since taken a leave of absence from school to spend time on my creative projects and to decide what direction I want to point my life in.
About Me
I am a young writer who is just beginning to get my work out in the world. I write mostly fiction and poetry, but have worked on a few nonfiction pieces. My fiction is a mixed bag. I enjoy using elements of magical realism. I also often write about love. Romance sounds cheesy, I know, but I try to navigate romance on a deeper level, and use it as more than just easy reading. Love is amazing to me, and you can do so much with it in the context of a story. You can be realistic, and explore what most books and movies leave out; by showing the bad and the good that comes in relationships, and the realities we are often not taught about. It can help you to get to know your characters in a different way and to explore the astounding connections people make when they fall in love, as well as the pain it can cause. In poetry I am more inclined to analyze my own experiences and thoughts. The biggest inspirations and influences on my writing are J.D Salinger, Jack Kerouac, Poppy Z. Brite, and Francesca Lia Block.
Writing
I am fairly new to modeling and have only done a few photo shoots so far. I love being in front of the camera. Modeling provides me with confidence, and allows me to use my body as a creative tool to make art. My favorite type of modeling is Pin up. I love the style and the history of it. I also love it because I have an addiction to lingerie, and because it makes me feel confident and beautiful in my own skin.
